SALISBURY, N.C. -- It was a night to remember at Millbridge Speedway on Wednesday for Kyle Beattie Racing and SKE Chassis as Karsyn Elledge and "Lightning" London McKenzie got their first wins in micro sprint action.  Elledge led every lap of the winged micro race, and McKenzie swapped the lead back and forth numerous times in an exciting four-car battle to grab his victory in non-wing micro. 

To make the evening even better, another SKE teammate, Tanner Tucker, finished second behind Elledge in the winged micro sprint race, and Nathan Meendering finished fourth to make it a 1-2 run for the team in that event and three cars in the top five.  

Elledge was filling in for "Katfish" Karter Beattie, who is still on the sidelines recovering from two broken vertebrae suffered in a crash last Tuesday.  He is now expected to return within two to three weeks to Micro action, pending approval from his medical team.  

Katfish joked after Elledge's win that "I might have just lost my ride!" as he grinned widely at seeing his car in victory lane.

McKenzie finished second in his heat and fourth in the Dash, giving vibes of a possible victory in the main. It took him moments to get to second once the green flag dropped, and then once he got the lead, he was able to open up several car lengths, with a few yellow flags putting the field on his back bumper once again.  The last five laps saw some of the closest racing you will see at Millbridge, with four cars all in contention and crossovers being dropped like bombs in battle.  
McKenzie was not to be denied, scoring a popular victory that was long overdue, with Trevor Cline, Hayden Wise and Caleb Scarborough following him closely across the line.  He will switch surfaces this weekend to race in the ARCA Menards Series at Rockingham before returning to Millbridge next week to try for two in a row.

London Winnerview

In other KBR/SKE results, Riley Dawson finished ninth in the Open Outlaw Kart division, with Tanner Tucker scoring 11th in the same event.  Tucker finished second in the Intermediate division with Colt Bailey finishing seventh.
