HEDNESFORD, CANNOCK, UK -- Photos by MKPics.Net -- Rising UK racer Finn Robinson started twelfth and charged his way to a victory in his second event of 2025 at Hednesford Hills Raceway in Hednesford, Cannock, UK.  
 
 After not being able to start his first 2025 feature event due to mechanical issues a couple of weeks earlier, Robinson was determined to find his winning form with his sharp No. 24 UK Modified car.   
 
 It took him just ten laps of the 20-lap feature to get the lead, but it wasn’t as easy as it sounds.  He tore through the field at the drop of the green flag and winged his way to second very quickly.  The No. 885 of Dave Tomlinson was leading and Russell “Bully” Bull was running third, both veteran, talented racers.  
 
Robinson had his work cut out for him.   Normally, he’d opt to spend a few laps saving his right rear tire for a more aggressive run at the end, but he knew that if he was going to win this race, he’d have to make his move and get by Tomlinson quickly before Bully caught up with them both. He went to the outside and punched the throttle, taking the lead around lap ten.    
Bull overtook Tomlinson for second and chased down Robinson, but Finn was determined and held on for one of the most challenging victories of his career. 
 
“I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this particular feature win feels,” the happy winner smiled. “One of the hardest, if not the hardest, races of my career. My right rear tire was cooked like a Texas brisket at the end. Bully was all over me like a rash. That was fast, hard, clean racing. A lapped car made it a drag race at the end. I am so thankful to my team, my sponsors, and supporters, and I hope I made them as happy as I am with this win. This was the first round of the British Qualifier so that makes it all the sweeter. Round two is April 13 and we’ll be at Aldershot Raceway for that one in a couple of weeks.”
